The name “Sonas” is inspired by the Irish word for happiness. For us, that happiness comes from owning our time, building something meaningful with others, and creating financial freedom through real estate. As a husband-and-wife team, we started Sonas Capital Partners to build a life we love—not just for ourselves, but for those we partner with.

We focus on partnering with passive investors to acquire and grow multifamily properties in strong, emerging markets. Our goal is to make apartment investing accessible, understandable, and rewarding—whether you're just getting started or looking to diversify your portfolio.

Sam Ireland

Co-Founder | Sonas Capital Partners

Sam Ireland is the co-founder of Sonas Capital Partners and a lifelong sales professional with nearly a decade of experience delivering results in the high-performance world of enterprise sales. But while climbing the corporate ladder, Sam couldn’t shake the desire for something more—more control over his time, his income, and ultimately, his life.

That spark began back in college, living in a 10-unit townhome complex, wondering: Who owns this place—and how can I do that someday? Years later, that curiosity led to a house hack with his fiancée, Makenzie, and eventually to the powerful world of real estate syndications.

Today, Sam is passionate about helping others unlock the same freedom he and Makenzie set out to create. At Sonas, he focuses on capital raising, deal sourcing, and investor education—making it simple for everyday professionals to passively invest in apartment communities that generate consistent cash flow and long-term equity growth.

Sam’s mission is clear: escape the rat race and bring others with him. By investing in multifamily real estate, he's helping build a future where people don’t just trade time for money—but invest in assets that work for them.

Makenzie Jameson

Makenzie Jameson is the co-founder of Sonas Capital Partners, where she brings both heart and strategy to the vision of creating lasting impact through real estate.

Before stepping into multifamily investing, Makenzie has spent nearly a decade as a registered nurse—a career grounded in service, problem-solving, and helping people navigate complex systems. Whether she was advocating for patients in critical situations or collaborating with healthcare teams, she developed a unique ability to communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure, and build trust through compassion and transparency.

Today, Makenzie brings those same skills to Sonas, where she focuses on investor relations, brand development, and partnership strategy. Her nursing background shines through in her commitment to creating meaningful connections and guiding investors with care, clarity, and integrity.

Makenzie’s passion for real estate comes from her deep desire to create freedom—not only for her own family, but for others as well. She believes real estate is one of the most powerful vehicles for building wealth, creating flexibility, and designing a life centered on purpose, impact, and connection.

At Sonas, her favorite part of the business is helping people realize they can take control of their financial future—and showing them how investing in multifamily real estate can be the first step toward something bigger than themselves.

When she’s not working with investors or building partnerships, you’ll find Makenzie immersed in personal growth, doing yoga, working out, adventuring in nature, or spending intentional time with her family and loved ones.
